🍰 Organization assets library - use your visual language
In this article, I want to motivate you to focus on the visual language of your company.
For this 🍰 of cake, you don’t have to be familiar with any particular topics.
You just need to set the organization assets library or ask your SharePoint Admin to do this for you.
Every company has its visual language. It defines the company and its values.
When you add pictures (in web parts) to your SharePoint Online site, you can use Microsoft’s stock images or the web search for adding images to your site.
You can create colorful and diverse pages but be aware that they might not reflect your company’s visual language.
You can use the organizational assets library to make resources available to everyone in your company by setting one or more libraries as an “organization assets library”.
In the screenshot below, you can see how the organization assets library is listed in the assets dialog when you want to add an image to any web part on a page.
To define the organization’s assets library, you need to run a PowerShell command. On the Microsoft documentation site, you can find guidance for the PowerShell cmdlets.
